Cover artwork for Amongst Giants, the instrumental/electronic project of composer Matthias Hacksteiner. Based on Sandra Reichl’s concept of attraction between opposites, the image reflects a sound world shaped by contrast: electronic and classical, intimate and cinematic, structured and open. A visual translation of music built between poles.
Commission for Schilowsky Baustoffe
A commissioned portrait series for Schilowsky, created for the company’s new branch. The brief was to make work for the space that felt artistic, distinctive, and rooted in the materials of the business, with the employees as protagonists. Each person was photographed in two roles — individual and craftsperson — then digitally layered in collaboration with Judith Strieder against the brand’s signature red. The result is bold, personal, and unmistakably Schilowsky: a visual statement about work, identity, and the desire to be anything but ordinary.
JD Samson
A portrait series with musician JD Samson, shaped around queer presence and visual expectation. The gesture reverses a familiar image trend: rather than using a finger moustache as a joke or prop, it briefly hides what is already there before revealing it. Playful, minimal, and pointed, the sequence turns recognition itself into the portrait.
