Hadi Teherani - the Architect of ATMOSPHERE by Krallerhof

Commissioned to photograph the opening of ATMOSPHERE by Krallerhof, I found myself working with two strong protagonists: the building and its architect, Hadi Teherani. Both have an unmistakable presence.

Teherani is deeply aware of the image he projects, and that is part of the portrait. Rather than trying to dismantle the performance, I was interested in staying with it—allowing space for something else to emerge. Perhaps you do notice when the performance begins to give way.

A personal project with Sarah Bzoch

This series is an invitation to look again. We are quick to dismiss what appears imperfect, unresolved or out of focus. Yet some things only reveal themselves once we stop insisting on clarity.

Sebastian Höglinger and Peter Schernhuber for A PASSION THING

The commission was to photograph the former directors of the Diagonale film festival. I was free to interpret the task. Alongside the portraits, I photographed their offices, projection room, the details they surrounded themselves with, and the atmosphere of the place where ideas took shape. As real as life, read a poster in one of the offices. It could just as well have described the approach to this series. When images create a bigger picture, they (and I) have done their job.

Maryam Yeganehfar und Ali Mahlodji for WOMAN magazine

An editorial interview series with Maryam Yeganehfar, Ali Mahlodji, and Dr. Minou Yeganehfar in Vienna’s Augarten. The conversation explored cultural connection, generational continuity, visibility, and the balance between rootedness and reinvention. Moving between observation and direction, the images translate that exchange into portraits of dialogue, presence, and open attention.

Personal branding for Jonny Roth

A lifestyle portrait series for Jonny Roth, whose coaching focuses on strength, balance, and wellbeing for people over 40. His work is rooted in the connection between body, mind, and nature, so we photographed him at dawn, moving between portraits, outdoor training, and the forest and garden around him. The resulting images are calm, focused, and grounded — a visual expression of his approach rather than a simple fitness story.

South Styria for ALPS magazine

An editorial series from Südsteiermark and Vulkanland, created during the pandemic and shaped by landscape, hospitality, and local craft. While the publication focused on atmospheric documentation, we expanded the story through environmental portraits of winemakers, restaurateurs, and producers — the people behind the region’s food, wine, and sense of place. The images move between reportage and portraiture, tracing a region through what it grows, makes, serves, and shares.

Personal branding for vinonudo

A personal branding series for ninonudo, Dominik Portune’s natural wine store in Vienna. Moving between portraiture, tasting, product, and the atmosphere of the store, the images trace the craft and attention behind his work.

Image campaign for Schilowsky Baustoffe

An image campaign for Schilowsky Baustoffe, focused on the people, materials, and gestures behind the business. The series looks at what is often overlooked in construction — hands, surfaces, scale, concentration, teamwork — and turns it into a clear, human visual language for the brand.

Image campaign for Sky Design

A product and lifestyle series for Sky Design, created around an outdoor kitchen. The images are clean, calm, and precise, showing the product not as an isolated object, but as part of a way of living. Architecture, material, light, and atmosphere come together in a commission that moves beyond people — into product, space, and feeling.
